Mannone joins Hull on loan

by on January 4, 2012

Arsenal goalkeeper Vito Mannone has joined Championship side Hull on loan until the end of the season. The Italian was previously on loan at Hull last season where he made ten appearances for them and impressed during time at the KC Stadium. Mannone has found his opportunities limited at Arsenal this season being third-choice behind Polish goalkeepers Wojciech Szczęsny and Łukasz Fabiański. But Mannone has made one appearance for the Gunners this season coming on for Fabiański against Olympiakos in the Champions League last month. Mannone made a costly error which lead to Olympiakos’s second goal which was scored by David Fuster.

Mannone is available to play for Hull on the weekend.
