Peter Hill-Wood Says Van Persie Wants To Stay

by on December 15, 2011

Arsenal chairman Peter Hill-Wood spoke to the Daily Star about Arsenal captain Robin Van Persie and the Dutchman’s current contract. The Dutch striker’s contract expires in the summer of 2013 and doesn’t want to discuss about renewing his contract yet. The Arsenal chairman is confident Van Persie will stay at the Emirates

“I think Robin wants to stay, he seems very happy.”

“Nothing has been discussed, though it is obvious we want him to stay. He doesn’t want to talk about a contract now and that’s fine with us.”
