Arsenal starlet leaves, we scout a striker, Wenger talks forwards and a whole bunch of interviews and legends

by on December 15, 2011

Hello everyone and good evening. If you didn’t hear already, then we were scouting Anderlecht forward Matías Suárez. Speaking about forwards, Arsene Wenger spoke about signing a forward at a Q&A with fans yesterday. There’s a hell of a lot of interviews and what not here today, including the footage from the Q&A. I don’t have anything else on transfers today, but I can tell you that rumours from yesterday evening seem to have been confirmed today regarding Alban Bunjaku leaving the club. There’s still a lot to be confirmed about it, but it seems so far that he fell out with the coaching staff at the club and wasn’t satisfies with the offers of a professional deal from the club. He obviously didn’t feature for the U-18s last night as they lost 1-0 aet last night against Derby. A bit of an upset and certainly a disappointment, read more about it here.

A whole bunch of people have been talking as well. Park Chu-Young says that he’s ready to take his chance after finally settling into life at the Arsenal. In the same vein, Theo Walcott has spoken about how the new players needed time to settle down and that it’s paid off with The Arsenal’s improved form. News on Robin Van Persie as well as the one and only PHW is sure that he’ll re-sign before the summer. Reassured? Not really. In other news, Francis Coquelin speaks about breaking into the first-team and Per Mertesacker has been speaking about the differences between playing in Germany and in England.

Two other things, there’s a slim chance that Emmanuel Frimpong will stay with us instead of going to the African Cup on Nations while here’s a video of the whole Arsenal Legends lark that went on pre-Everton.

That’s it for today, don’t forget to follow me on twitter @SavageGooner.
