Chuks Aneke (Middle) Playing For Stevenage

Stevenage manager Graham Westle has recently spoke about Arsenal loanee Chuks Aneke. The young midfielder came on as a second-half substitute for the League One side on the weekend. Aneke is still getting used to League One football because it’s very different from playing in the Reserves.  Westle praised the England U-19 midfielder and spoke about his qualities.

Graham Westle on Chuks Aneke

“Chuks had a couple of very good moments,”

“He bent a ball just around the far post with his [first] effort and had he scored [the lob] it was Beckham-esque. He’d beaten the goalkeeper all ends up and it just drifted wide of the post.

“Chuks has got qualities he’s begun to show this afternoon. We’ve seen him on the training ground, he’s starting to find his feet. The pace of the game is significantly higher than the football he’s been playing in the Premier League reserve team.

“But he’s a high quality player, he’s a fantastic asset and he’s going to be some player in the future.”
