Arsenal U-18’s Take On Derby Tomorrow In FA Youth Cup

by on December 13, 2011

Arsenal U-18’s take on Derby County in the F.A Youth Cup third round tomorrow evening at Barnet’s ground Underhill. Steve Bould’s side are currently top of the Premier Academy League. Winning nine, drawing two and losing four out of their fifth-teen games so far this season. There most recent game was last week in there defeat to Southampton U-18’s, losing 3-0.

Martin Angha and Kyle Ebecilio are likely to drop down from the Neil Banfields side to play for the U-18’s tomorrow evening. Steve Bould has got a dilemma on his hands about his team selection for tomorrows game. Because the current U-18’s squad is very big, there has been a lot of rotation this season. Bould has even admitted this season he can’t play his strongest starting elven because everyone has to get games.

Will the starting eleven tomorrow mostly be of the second years in the U-18’s or will some of the summer recruits like Toral and Gnabry start? England U-17’s forward Mason Bennett is expected to start for Derby tomorrow, the fifteen year old has already featured for Derby County’s first-team a number of times this season.

Possible team – Cook, Bihmoutine, Monteiro, Angha, Glasgow, Wynter, Ansah, Ebecilio, Monakana, Rees, Roberts
